Arriving early afternoon on October 2nd, 2009; leaving late on October 4th.
The Plan: It’s my dad’s 60th birthday. My family lives about 40 minutes north of Daytona Beach. So I’m going to be driving out pretty quickly. Sorry, Orlando!

The Plan: Just make plans with family and friends. One night, fun times, gone the next day
Who I know: Mandie, and maybe a few others.
Where I’m staying: With family in Adams Morgan.
Meetup Action: Yeah, let’s do something that night.

The Plan: I’ve already done a Hollywood tour before. I can skip that this time. But, man, I’m gonna have some Roscoe’s, and some In-and-Out, bitches! I may also hit the beach this time.
Who I know: So many freaking people. It’ll be impossible to have a drink with you all. But I’ll try!
Where I’m staying: Nowhere! I need a couch to crash! Please help me.
Meetup Action: None so far. But there will be meetups. Oh yes, there will be meetups. Drop me a line and we can plan something!

The Plan: I really can’t wait to visit Chicago. I hear that I’ll love it. I am definitely going up to the top of the Whatever-They’re-Calling-It Tower (apparently Sears hasn’t paid the rent in a while), and I’m definitely taking a picture at that shiny egg sculpture thing, and I’m definitely getting fat there. The Cubs aren’t playing in town those particular days, but the White Sox are…
Who I know: A few personal friends, and Ty Ty.
Where I’m staying: Currently negotiating to crash with a friend.
Meetup Action: Probably 9/23 is the best date if you’d like to hang out. Taking any/all suggestions.

San Francisco, CA
Arriving mid-afternoon on September 18th, 2009; leaving late on September 20th.
The Plan: Well, San Francisco is the one city I haven’t visited that I’d like to see the most, so I am completely bursting with excitement to visit. And yet I will still need a ton of suggestions for local engagement. Yes, I will visit the Golden Gate Bridge. I will ride a trolley. I’ll make a trip to Lombard Street. Beyond that, I need an education on this city!
Who I know: caro, thatgirlallison (visiting for the weekend) and dogsareadorable (also visiting).
Where I’m staying: Crashing with Jackson West (not on Tumblr, I don’t think - but a well known person regardless), who is centrally located, I hear.
Meetup Action: I would love to see you guys on Friday or Saturday night. Let’s rock out!

Austin, TX
Arriving mid-afternoon on September 16th, 2009; leaving early on September 18th.
The Plan: Rent a bike. Check out the local music scene. Drink cheap beer. Eat big fat chunks of BBQ. Hang out with my Tumblr friends. Try not to say “water” because that’s how they immediately figured out in Boston that I was originally from New Jersey.

Where I’m staying: With Seagull! I am going to do some couch crashing in what I am told is a messy boys’ house. I’ll try to leave it in as good or better shape than when I arrived!
